Finally, a site that simply combines my love for music & alcohol.
(The keyword of course is: SIMPLY.) And it is simple.
Step 1: Visit Drinkify.org.
Step 2: Type in a musician, band, whatever.
Step 3: Never drink alone again.
For real, right?
There’s nothing like receiving a letter, or note – a postcard in the mail. (Or, ‘Snail mail’, as it’s sometimes referred to these days.) Bonus points for if it’s handwritten.
I somehow found the site Letters of Note & am overjoyed. If you’re looking for a little inspiration, motivation- anything at all- I would recommend visiting.
This is one of my latest favorites- “I Like Words.” Robert Pirosh was a copywriter in 1934 Hollywood. He wanted to become a screenwriter, so began sending outlandish letters to any director, producer, or executive he could. Really great.
And, one more: a letter written by John Steinbeck, the renowned author, to his son involving a new love. “The other is an outpouring of everything good in you—of kindness and consideration and respect—not only the social respect of manners but the greater respect which is recognition of another person as unique and valuable.”
Nothing good goes away.
3. Fun Game
And then this- quite possibly the most fun game ever.
There really are no words for how wonderful this is.
