AT LEAST ONE OF US WAS CRAZY.

“Jean, tell me, am i crazy? come on, babe, let me have it. i can take it.”

he finished his drink, put it on the coffee table & told me,“you’ll have to pay me my fee first.”

then i knew that at least one of us was crazy. Gov. Reagan & the Los Angeles sports writers were not there. but i got the odd feeling, sitting that room with him that things were not well, not well at all, & would not be for another couple thousand years at least.

If I ever go looking for my heart’s desire again, I won’t look any further than my own back yard. Because if it isn’t there, I never really lost it to begin with.
