today i’ve been working on my resume as well as getting ideas for where i want my portfolio to go. there are so many ideas & different directions to go that it’s hard to make a decision. but i think i have…
it’s called Champagne & Limousines, courtesy of dafont.com. i like the flow to it & it has a large font family, which is always a plus.
dafont.com is an absolute necessity for poor designers like me. i don’t have a lot of extra cash to buy fonts, but at dafont, they’re all free- & a lot of them are very, very cool. the website has a great & easy to navigate design & they’re adding new fonts every day, so it’s updated all the time.
so i think i’ve decided on a font, which is my first step. what do you think?
it’s hard to figure out what to do with a print portfolio. since there are no rules, the sky’s the limit. it’s impossible for me to figure out right now. so first i’m going to redesign jessicajjohnston.com, & hope to go from there.
please visit Nubby Twiglet’s how-to on creating a print portfolio. it has some really good insight that i’ve found helpful when trying to get ideas for how to put this together.
